What is a AIA file?
An AIA file is a Zip-compressed project file created by MIT App Inventor, a web program used by beginning developers to create applications for Android devices. It contains multiple folders and files, which include .BKY, SCM, and YAIL source code files. AIA files are used to save backups of projects or share them with other App Inventor users.
More Infomation
App Inventor allows you to drag and drop elements, such as buttons, images, text boxes, and sliders, into an application to create the user interface and functionality of the app. When you save a project, the information is saved to your online account.
The AIA file is only created when you download it from the online program. You can then upload AIA projects from a computer to the web program to open them. You can also export your project as an .APK package, instead of in source code form.
To export the AIA file, select "Projects" and choose . To import the AIA file, select "Projects" and choose or .
NOTE: Kodular Creator, which derives from App Inventor, may also be used to open AIA files.
